"Tell your DM you'd like to do the laundry, ask him to describe the results. Repeat a few games until everyone in the party is letting you do their laundry. One day apologize for putting a red sock in the only female character's laundry or the paladin without laughing. From that point on whenever the DM introduces a new NPC, apologize again about the pink clothes just to make sure no one forgets it."

New "real" Comic!
richardm 7/28/2008

Jason and I did a lot of work...well....Jason did a lot of work and I just Cheered him along. ;)  Anyways, a lot of work was done, and magically a new comic has gone up!  There is a new look to the comic, hopefully the new system will let us tell more complicated stories.

I've been running the dndorks cast through the ShadowFell Keep module, its been fun, and very inspirational I think, lots of cool stuff that should make its way in bits and pieces into the comic over the next several months.  We'll probably be keeping to the Monday comic for a few weeks, but my goal is to eventually get to 2 or 3 a week again, or heck, maybe even more!  But for now, hopefully we can count on at least once a week.

Thanks everyone who kept coming back, and to everyone new, hopefully some of you will like where we're going with things.

New Comic Today
richardm 7/21/2008
So I login this morning, like all of you faithful dndorks fans, only to see no new comic. Wth!?  So I log in and realize I scheduled the comic to show on the 28th.   Dang dndorks crew! (I'm making fun of myself here   ;) ) But the issue is resolved, and the new comic is up.  At the very minimum I'd like to keep 1 comic going a week, and a good portion of Jason's semi-secret "Relinquish Control 1.0" project is nearly done.  Its pretty exciting, and today's comic hints at where we're going.

Until next week (or Jason posts another link to another Joss production.  Why didn't he put one of the fancy banners up?

See? That wasn't so hard, but now you can't get it for free, gotta pay if you want to see it, and you can't even pay yet , but there you go but soon I'd expect, seeing as the comiccon is this weekend (Jason says you can already buy it on itunes, I don't do the itunes thing so hadn't checked).  Its Joss Whedon folks, gotta support him anyways. :D

Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog
artmonkey 7/18/2008
Ok, so there's this really awesome thing on the internet.  It's got Doogie Howser and Captain Mal in it.  It's got evil schemes and superheroics.  It's got musical numbers.  I think it's awesome.

BUT!

It's only online until Midnight, July 20th.  So go see it now!  And spread the word or something.

Part 2 coming Tomorrow
richardm 7/14/2008
So its been a couple weeks, I lost some traction because we were having some internet issues for a week or so, but I've recovered a bit.  The second part of this script-comic will be going live tomorrow barring some sort of critical breakdown...

We've been working on our new process of making comics, over the years things are drastically different than what they were, and Jason's first new draft of Mareg is more or less finished as of last night, and it should, in theory, make the comic creation be much easier. Now we just need to get Jason to do Melissa, Mike, DM, Albert, Ethan, Lia, Arthur, a half dozen NPCs, a few adversaries, and several backdrops, and the comic should be back on track! ;)

If you'd like to be able to poke Jason to give him incentive to do more, you could...donate a little to help justify/guilt him into taking time from his blah so-called "work", click here if you're up for helping support Jason.

If you'd like to push me to write more/program more on the site, click here.

We've been doing 4th edition stuff and I have a couple articles I'll be posting shortly, I think Jason has one too about Skill encounters.
